Delma Godoy, a Brazilian Plastic Artist sculptor, uses her sparse style to frame photographic images taken in cityscapes from her travels.
She captures the simple elements of a complex environment, such as the street statues of Paris or the massive trees in a Canadian rainforest.
Her adherence to style allows her to frame a perspective in which the viewer is the principal participant.
Delma uses color deftly to underscore an inherent beauty of a moment, letting the image of a duck at sunset on a pond or a brooding angel in the foreground of a pending storm speak for themselves.
Her recent inclusion of digital art takes the photograph into a new realm, where layers create compelling textures without the heavy hand of technology.
The scale of her work belies the ease with which she captures an image. This visual artist, working with a sculptures in Refractory Land, painting , an another materials, has found a new atelier with a camera at her side.

Love has no retouching
He has wrinkles,
Disheveled hair
Investigative eyes.
Love

Warm
Smell
It can be done in the dark
Blurred
Distressed.
The love
who always
Will welcome
inside a music
like murmurs in a sonata!"

Photographys - Digital Photographys
I have a personal fascination with the combination of light with darkness.
I like to shoot these extremes in nature, mainly in the cities and the peoples.
The exercise of this special time of waiting, I was spiritually transported to the reflection on the unexpected, the loneliness and the generosity of the gaze.
